Even Fruit Flies like to be Cuddled

Researchers found nerves tuned to gentle touch, by stroking drosophila larva with a "freshly plucked eyelash".  A lesson in the universally of some experiences.  But I do wonder where they got all the necessary eye-lashes for the research?
